Page Breeze HTML Tag Editing Software is the software that is officially recommended by Designs by Crystal Myst.  Why?  All of the most popular website software, Adobe GoLive, Expressions Web, DreamWeaver, Coffee Cup, etc., cannot handle the advanced coding that we sometimes use in the building of some of our websites.  These "do-it-yourself" softwares, which are commonly available on the market, are just that ... for beginners and novice users.  Often, our hand-coding is so advanced in some of the websites we build, that using one of the above can distort, remove or edit the embedded codes that may be used in the coding of your web pages ... thus rendering you with a non-working website.

Here at Designs by CM, we have been programming since we were tots!  We like good, clean coding and do 95% of it by-hand.  The do-it-yourself softwares do not understand this advanced coding and thus remove it from your web pages when/if you try to make text changes or other minor changes to web pages on your site.  You simply cannot use any HTML editor that is made for "do it yourself" type website pages for the websites we create.

We have downloaded and used Page Breeze to test and make sure that it does not throw in all kinds of useless coding into web pages nor distort our embedded PHP coding.  There is a FREE version of it and a Professional Version as well.  It's very affordable, even if you purchase the Professional version.  Can you still mess up pages using this software?  Yes you can.  If you try to change the layout using this Page Breeze or other major factors on the page, and you're a novice or inexperienced web person, you can mess up any web page using any software.  While this software does not distort the coding, it still requires that you do have "some" experience or perhaps enough knowledge to "not" mess up :)

While not all customers make changes to their websites themselves, for those of you who do ... save yourself a disaster in destroying your newly built website ... DO NOT use any of the aforementioned do-it-yourself software.  However, rest assured, that we do maintain backups of your site when built and, should you wreck your site by using a software that we do not recommend, we can certainly restore your files to working order as they were when the site was built.
